HELT 505 – Special topic: Higher Education in Aotearoa New Zealand

HELT 505 offers an opportunity to investigate New Zealand's higher education history, policies, students and practices. It will particularly focus on aspects that make the tertiary environment in New Zealand distinctive, such as the influence of the Treaty of Waitangi. It will also examine the interplay of higher education learning and teaching theories, and their applications, within the New Zealand context.
This course is offered in Trimester Two only, and is only available as part of the PGDipHELT
